Welcome to our new Members – April Bakon and Kaylene Lazzam

 

The Club will be closed for research on Saturday 18th October, due to work being carried out in the Computer Room.  The old carpet will be replaced with vinyl, the desks reorganised and the room will be given a fresh coat of paint.

 

Guest Speaker - Saturday 25th October at 1 pm

(Our guest speaker will be Bill Kitson.  He will be speaking on maps and surveying….he was the curator of the Mapping & Surveying Museum in Brisbane)

 

Hindsight Closing date for December Issue – 8th Nov. 2008. Please consider submitting a story for ‘your’ magazine.

Christmas Break up party will be on meeting day – 12th December 2008….more information next newsletter.

 

 

Our new fundraising Recipe Book will be available in a few days time.  Book is 132 A4 pages and would make a great Christmas gift for family and/or friends.  (And you will be helping raise money for the Club at the same time) Cost is $10 a copy.

 

Speaking of Christmas, it is time to start thinking of the Christmas Hamper Raffles…..any donations of items suitable for the raffles can be left in the box provided….thank you
